On Oct 29-30, team FVV took part in the OPTI-UP partnership meeting in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, where project partners gathered for the 3rd Technical Meeting, opens an external URL in a new window to review progress and plan the next steps towards greener and more efficient public transport in small and medium-sized Central European cities. The discussions focused on the implementation and monitoring of pilot actions, the Comprehensive Strategy for Optimisation of Public Transport Networks, and local plans for each pilot area.

TUW was represented by Bingyu Zhao, Barbara Laa and Ivan Babiy, who each gave a presentation showcasing TUW’s contributions to OPTI-UP. Their inputs supported the ongoing work on tools and methods that help cities better align public transport networks with local needs and sustainability goals.

The steering committee meeting, opens an external URL in a new window as well as a site visit to Český Krumlov, opens an external URL in a new window also took place at the same event, where partners learned about the local pilot action of electric minibuses.
