With this event, the new ImmoABS board members Manuel Plachner, MSc MRICS and Stephan de Giacomo, MSc MRICS set the start for their activities for the alumni association of the real estate courses of the TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education. The exchange of knowledge and networking during and after the continuing education studies are an important part of the success of the TU Wien Academy. The various events of ImmoABS and the TU Wien Academy complement each other to form an attractive programme.

Mag. Dr. Achim Kaspar - member of the VERBUND , opens an external URL in a new windowExecutive Board since 2019 - gave an overview of the developments in the energy industry in recent years. The development in the direction of renewable energy has been promoted for years, but the climate crisis, shortage of raw materials and the Russia-Ukraine conflict have accelerated these developments. One focus of his remarks was on the challenges facing the energy industry. Achim Kaspar explained the effects of legal requirements on the energy sector and discussed ways in which companies can meet these requirements. Afterwards, many questions were asked and exciting discussions were held about various aspects of the energy industry.
