Step 1: Notify the continuation of your studies

First of all, you have to register the continuation of your studies at your home university (by paying the ÖH-fee and any tuition fees), only then is co-registration at other universities possible.

Step 2: Online application

Complete the online application by clicking on the tile "Co-registration".

Step 3: Required documents

Use the application form to apply for co-enrolment. This form already contains the text for the pre-approval, which must then be filled out and signed by the responsible academic authority. The following documents must be sent to the Admissions Office by email within the admission deadlines:

  1. Application form with completed pre-approval of the selected course/examination at the TU Wien for the current semester by the competent governing body responsible for study law at the home university (e.g. dean of studies, curriculum director, head of study programme, vice rector for teaching).
  2. Proof of having passed the STEOP in the Bachelor's degree programme in question (transcript of records or collective certificate with the remark "STEOP completed"), issued by the governing body responsible for study law at the home university.
  3. Proof of at least 30 ECTS credits in the diploma or Master's degree programme (transcript of records or transcript of records)
  4. current study record of the home university
  5. valid student ID

Step 4: Continuation of co-registration

In order to continue co-registration in the following semester, the documents required for co-registration must be submitted to the Admissions Office by email within the admission deadlines.
