On March 5, 2024 the successful kick-off of our new format “Alumni TUesday hosted by...” took place at PKE Holding AG, opens an external URL in a new window. Christian Ernst, graduate of our General Management MBA, and now Member of the Executive Board of PKE, thankfully took the initiative and invited ACE students and alumni to his company.

A hidden champion provides exclusive insights

At the beginning, a video illustrated the rapid growth over the last 45 years and the ongoing diversification of PKE Holding AG. Christian Ernst and some of his colleagues then gave us an overview of the impressive range of services offered by this extremely successful hidden champion. Today, PKE's portfolio includes several areas such as security systems, communication systems, multimedia systems, building technology, traffic systems, facility management and parking systems.

Our students and alumni were particularly impressed by the fully digital showroom in which the event took place. Among other things, it is equipped with an immersive audio system. With just one click, the acoustics can be changed so that it sounds like an opera house, a concert hall or even a cathedral. Quite impressive!

After the interesting insights, the evening ended with a generous buffet and stimulating conversations. Several PKE employees took the time to personally answer questions from our students and alumni. All in all, it was a very inspiring and informative event where we had the exclusive opportunity to experience current technology developments and innovations at first hand.
