The RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), opens an external URL in a new window is a global professional association of experts from all areas of the real estate industry. The RICS stands worldwide for the professional practice of real estate valuation, residential and commercial property, construction, land ownership and environmental issues. It regulates and promotes the profession on the basis of high professional standards and strict professional ethics.

RICS cooperates with renowned educational institutions such as the Academy for Continuing Education, which are known for the outstanding level of their education. The postgraduate program MSc Real Estate (Investment & Valuation) is accredited by the RICS and thus meets the high quality standards of the association.
