Vice Rector Matyas thanks the Research Unit for participation in Ukraine Aid

Due to the current events in Ukraine, TU Wien is helping Ukrainian scientists who are completing a guest research stay at TU Wien as part of a special programme. As the Research Unit Track-bound Transportation Systems is also participating, our colleague Olena Kaliuzhna and our colleague Markus Lagler were invited by Vice Rector Kurt Matyas to a get-together with other participants in order to get to know each other and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The Rsearch Unit Track-bound Transportation Systems would like to thank Vice-Rector Matyas and Ms Madsen (Human Resources Development) for their support and for organising the get-together. We hope that this will lead to a deeper cooperation between our research unit and the Ukrainian State Railway Transport University in Kharkiv, as the future questions in railway engineering have to be answered mainly through international cooperation (interoperability).
