Prototype as an example of innovative construction in urban areas

After the successful assembly of the 3-story vivihouse prototype in Vienna last year, vivihouse is now an official candidate of the IBA_Wien 22 (International Building Exhibition Vienna) and invited as an exhibitor at Expo Dubai. The prototype is scheduled to open by the end of summer 2021 - until then, some of the interior work is still to be done. The prototype is to become an information and exhibition pavilion for the new Viennese district and the IBA_Vienna 22 as well as a tangible example of innovative ecological construction in urban areas.

Sustainable Construction at the TU Wien and TU Graz

The vivihouse project was initiated, among others, by a graduate of the Sustainable Construction course at the TU Wien and TU Graz and supervised by academic director Prof. Karin Stieldorf. The next cohort of the master and certificate course Sustainable Construction (language of tuition: German) starts in October 21.
