On August 22nd there will be one of the largest updates in TUWEL's now 17-year history: The system will be updated to the latest Moodle version (4.2). What will change? The visual interface has been optimised and adapted to the design of the TU Wien. Numerous innovations and enhancements help to further improve digital teaching at TU Wien. The update is organised by the team of the service unit Educational Technologies.

Please note: The update will start on Tuesday, 22 August 2023, at 6am. TUWEL will not be available or will have limited availability on this day! Work on the courses should be scheduled accordingly before or after the update window.

Save the Date: Feature-presentation, September 19th

All teachers and interested staff members of TU Wien are invited on September 19^th 2023 to join an information event about the new TUWEL features. Jasmin Gründling-Riener, the designated Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, will open the event. The team of the service unit of Digital Teaching and Learning, together with the service unit Educational Technologies, will present essential innovations and changes in TUWEL. New features will be shown in a live-demonstration. Afterwards attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the TUWEL-team. The event will be rounded off with small snacks and refreshing drinks.
