Prof. Yury Vetyukov joins Editorial Board of “Acta Mechanica”

Prof. Yury Vetyukov, head of the Research Unit Mechanics of Solids at the Institute of Mechanics and Mechatronics, has joined the Editorial Board of the internationally renowned journal Acta Mechanica.

Acta Mechanica, founded in 1965 by, among others, Prof. Heinz Parkus, is one of the most important journals in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics. It is published monthly by Springer Verlag.
Prof. Vetyukov's predecessors, Prof. Michael Krommer and Prof. Hans Troger, also served as editors of this journal.
