Short CV

Stefan Dumss joined the MIVP research group of TU Wien in 2015. From 2009 to 2016 he studied the Master's Programme “Mechanical Engineering – Management“ at the Wien with focus on Quality Management, Industrial Engineering and Logistics. His master thesis focused on “Optimisation of function and weight of inner parts of an aircraft”. 

Research Interests

Within the project Mr. Dumss focuses on the system analysis and design of distributed developed software systems using Microservices and Docker container technology.

Projects

Currently Mr. Dumss works at the project „FACTS4WORKERS - Worker-Centric Workplaces in Smart Factories“. The project aims to show possible ways for designing intelligent work environments with focus upon the human element as key driver in production processes. Thereby a user-centric, semantic information system will be developed, that is be optimized according to the needs of the users.
