The series of biennal international symposia on Hysteresis Modeling and Micromagnetics (HMM) was initiated in 1996 at The George Washington University Virginia by Prof. Edward Della Torre.

HMM was designed as an interdisciplinary international forum for discussion of the most recent advancements in domains of science and technology related to hysteresis modeling and micromagnetics. HMM offers an opportunity to the scientists with various backgrounds (physicists, mathematicians, engineers, material scientists, etc) to exchange ideas, experiences and to present their most recent results.

HMM 2023 is the 13th edition of the symposium and was preceded by the following meetings:

  1. HMM 1996, 20-22 May, Ashburn, VA, USA. Physica B, Volume 233, Issue 4 (1997)
