We are pleased that the Association of Austrian Librarians (VÖB) awarded prizes to two of our staff members during the Library Congress.

MMag.a Magdalena Andrae received the “Förderpreis für Nachwuchsbibliothekar*innen“, a promotional award for young librarians in recognition of library skills demonstrated through ambition and commitment.

Mag. Andreas Pacher MA received the „Bruno-Bauer-Gedächtnispreis für Innovation“ (Bruno Bauer Memorial Award for Innovation) for a paper, opens an external URL in a new window within the project "Open Editors, opens an external URL in a new window". The project consisted of the semi-automated collection of data to make information on over half a million editors and editorial board members available for scientometric analysis.

We express our warmest congratulations to the prize winners!
