hunTU, the somewhat different scavenger hunt, follows a simple concept: each team is given a list of objects and action tasks. Within 3.14 days, the objects have to be brought to the jury and the tasks have to be completed. There is a certain number of points to be scored for each challenge solved. The team with the most points at the end wins the hunTU.

Chess Club TU Wien

The young team of chess enthusiasts, from beginners to masters, meets twice a week during the season. On the one hand, there is the always well-attended club evening (free of charge), which is also open to guests. On the other hand, there are the weekly championship games and training sessions (for a fee). Games, openings, tactics or endgames are studied here.

Tango Argentino @ TU Wien

Foot position in the Argentine Tango

Argentine tango has been danced at TU Wien since October 2015. The aim is not only to perfect the dance style, but also to get to know the culture of Argentina - through dance courses, discussions about the history, traditions or music. Similar to the Viennese waltz, the Argentine tango has an extensive cultural heritage and was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2009.
