Learning outcomes
After positive completion of the course, students are able to recognise, describe and understand the many different facets that make up public transport. The challenge is to transfer the acquired knowledge to real solutions.

Content of the course

The lecture series looks at suburban and rural public transport from as many perspectives as possible:
The importance in the transport system; planning of its facilities; forms of organisation and financing of transport; successful example projects; etc.

As attendance is compulsory, at least 8 of the 12 dates must be attended in order to be allowed to sit the written examination.
