Congratulations to Senior Researcher and Faculty Member of our MSc Renewable Energy Systems Amela Ajanovic who has been appointed with the title “WREN Pioneer” by the World Renewable Energy Network!t.

The World Renewable Energy Network, opens an external URL in a new window (WREN) is a global network which brings together decision makers, researchers, companies and customers. Its’ main goal is to effectively enable discussion and facilitate the transfer of knowledge on renewable energy sources and technologies across nations.

Every two years, WREN selects a group of outstanding scientist, engineers and policy makers and awards them the title “WREN Pioneers”.  We are very proud to announce, that our faculty member Amela Ajanovic, opens an external URL in a new window is amongst those scientists and we send our warm congratulations!

Amela Ajanovic joins the yearly WREC (World Renewable Energy Congress) and is about to participate in the upcoming conference in July 2021 in Lisboa, Portugal, as well.
Her main area of interest is sustainable energy systems, with special focus on the transport sector: energy efficiency, energy policy, energy modelling, and scenario development. In the course of our MSc Renewable Energy Systems, opens an external URL in a new window she holds lectures on “Perspectives for future technologies: hydrogen from Renewables & Battery Electric Vehicles” and "International Survey on Transport” during the introductory module of the Master’s program.
