Further Education Opportunities at TU Wien

As part of its professional development program, TU Wien promotes skills-oriented training and workshops for all employees. These are designed to strengthen both job-related and interdisciplinary skills and to encourage networking and diversity.

To this end, TU Wien offers a wide range of internal courses, including e-learning courses, which are exclusively available to TU Wien employees. In addition, some training courses are mandatory as standard training for specific target groups.

If training needs are too specific, are not offered by TU Wien, or if the target group is too small, external providers can be used for external further education.

As a basis for formalized further education offers, the Competency Framework supports both employees and leaders in specifically identifying further education needs and selecting appropriate measures. Whether and to what extent further education can be used must be agreed upon between the direct leader and the employee.
