It was organized by three post-docs from the faculties of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering, namely Fabian Key (Institute of Lightweight Design and Structural Biomechanics), Marco De Paoli (Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer), and Antonia Wagner (Institute of Mechanics of Materials and Structures). As a highlight, the conference received the ÖkoEvent certificate from the City of Vienna, which recognizes sustainable events meeting several relevant criteria. With almost 170 international participants and renowned invited plenary speakers presenting their cutting-edge research in computational mechanics and enjoying the diverse social activities, the event was a great success.
