Exkursion City tunnel Waidhofen/Ybbs

In the course of the lecture Rock and Tunnel Construction, the construction site City Tunnel Waidhofen/Ybbs was visited. After two detailed presentations of the geological and geotechnical situation, the various construction methods and the construction activity to date, the entire tunnel with a length of around 1.7 km was walked. During the inspection, a wide variety of tunnel construction methods, safety methods and interior work could be viewed.
