Congratulations to the winners of the "Future of Mobility“ scholarships and "Women in Leadership" scholarships for Professional MBA Automotive Industry

Since 2009, TU Wien and the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava have offered this unique practice-oriented, part-time MBA Program to train current and future top managers of the automotive industry & supply industry and to prepare them to meet challenges of the global economy. In addition to business topics, the program focuses on production, logistics and industry 4.0.

In order to give an opportunity for high level academic education to qualified and motivated persons two Future of Mobility Scholarships and two Women in Leadership Scholarships were awarded.

At the hearing of the Future of Mobility Scholarships on February 25, 2020 Mr. Timur Altynbayev,Kazakhstan und Mr. Pavel Scepka, Slovakia could convince with their motivation and professional background the jury. Mr. Altynbayev has been working for more than 10 years in the automotive business. He is now a product manager as well as trainer at Autocenter Bavaria (BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad Importer in Kazakhstan) in Alamty, Kazakhstan. After his bachelor study in Bratislava Mr. Scepka moved to Graz and started Master Study in Mechanical Engineering. As Student Trainee he joined AVL List GmbH to develop an apparatus to measure the efficiency of any exhaust manifold. Now he is working as a Development Engineer at the same company for development and calibration of diesel commercial and large engines.

At the hearing of the Women in Leadership scholarship Mrs. Kristína Demianová, Slovakia and Ms. Celeste Reglá, Venezuela won the scholarhips. 

After Mrs. Demianová finished her Master study in Material Science and Technology at the Slovak Technical University in Trnava, she successfully completed the PhD study in Welding. She started her automotive industry career as a quality technician at a top Canadian supplier in Slovakia. After almost 8 years, she is now coordinating, as a Central Program Manager for Slovakia and China. Ms. Regla came to Barcelona for study. She studied Industrial Engineering at “Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya”, Barcelona. She is now working as a R&D Project manager for innovation projects at CARNET – Future Mobility Research Hub – a research hub of the Volkswagen Group Innovation.

The Continuing Education Center wishes winners big success for their two years MBA study. 

The next program starts on October 22, 2020.

Early Bird Bonus is available!
Applications received before April 30, 2020 are eligible for a 10% Early Bird Bonus on the total tuition fee. With the Early Bird Bonus the tuition fee amounts to EUR 18,000 instead of EUR 20,000. For each student, only one bonus can be claimed. No further discounts possible.
