TU coLAB goes E-Learning

The range of e-learning courses offered under the HR continuing education programme continues to grow and now boasts TU coLAB training tailored to TU Wien. This is perfect for you if you like doing training on your own initiative, without being tied to time and place. But there are still some places available for face-to-face basic training too, if that's more your thing. Online meetings over the course of two mornings will show you everything you need to know to start working in your TU coLAB space right away.

[Translate to English:] TUcoLAB goes E-Learning

With TU coLAB, TU Wien has a platform for digital collaboration that is already being utilised by more than 6,400 users across almost 430 workspaces and 14,300 pages. In TU coLAB, different teams, organisational units and even universities are involved in the collaboration. It is where content is published, teams are coordinated, knowledge shared and feedback collected. TU employees can create a central source of information and knowledge base and work on it together.

Basic knowledge for digital collaboration

From the diverse range of support options with Help pages, video portal, chat channel, training sessions and consultations, we have also developed e-learning training that is specifically tailored to use cases at TU Wien.  In the TU coLAB basic training sessions, it will only take around 3 hours for you to acquire everything you need to know to start working in your own TU coLAB space without further delay.

  • How do I get into TU coLAB?
  • Getting started – user interface, editing mode, toolbar, search
  • Working with pages – the most important functions and formats
  • Creating your own pages
  • How can I collaborate and communicate with other people in TU coLAB?
  • The most important macros to make daily work easier
  • Working with templates

Information and how-to videos neatly organised in TUWEL

The e-learning course is handled by TU Wien's own platform TUWEL, where you will find all the information and how-to videos you need all in one place. A handy feature of TUWEL is that once you complete the sections you can "mark them off as done", which helps you to keep track of your personal learning progress. And don't worry, you don't need your own space to take part in the e-learning course. A workspace is available directly in TU coLAB for you to try it out for yourself.

You will find the link to the TUWEL course and the relevant registration code in TISS: https://tiss.tuwien.ac.at/tu_events/tu_event/8744, opens an external URL in a new window.
Enter the code in the TUWEL course and you will be able to take part without having to wait for a confirmation e-mail.
