Sustainability Scholarships at the TU Wien Academy

The demands placed on people who are confronted with environmental issues have increased significantly in recent years, not only in the technical but also in the legal, political and economic spheres. In this context, continuing education at the university level is the personal key factor for career-minded individuals to be able to successfully fill management positions accordingly, also at the international level.

The TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education accounts for this demand with targeted programs in the thematic area "Sustainability & Energy".  The sustainability portfolio is dedicated to aspects of air, water, waste and resource management, energy efficiency and sector integration as well as international environmental policy and the challenges of renewable energy systems. The high quality standards in teaching and the recognition for further education at other educational institutions are guaranteed by international accreditations.

The MSc Environmental Technologies & International Affairs

Attractive partial scholarships are currently available for two of these master's programs. The full-time MSc Environmental Technologies and International Affairs, offered in cooperation with the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, provides an interdisciplinary general education in the fields of international relations, environmental technologies, and the legal and economic management of environmental issues. Here, interested candidates can still apply for two partial scholarships until the end of February 2022.

The MSc Renewable Energy Systems

Alumni from the part-time program MSc Renewable Energy Systems emerge as experts for the planning and evaluation of international projects in the field of alternative energy systems such as solar, wind or geothermal projects and benefit from the close cooperation with the industry partner Energiepark Bruck/Leitha. Applications for these two partial scholarships are still possible until mid-March 2022.

How to apply

Scholarship applicants who meet the eligibility criteria submit their complete documents to the respective program teams in a timely manner and are evaluated by a jury after review and verification.
