The Institute of Sociology at the University of Vienna has been organizing the Marie Jahoda Summer School since 2010. On the occasion of its tenth anniversary in 2020, the focus will be on the life and work of Marie Jahoda, who, as an active member of the Social Democratic Party, devoted her research primarily to issues of social inequality and the struggle for workers' rights.
PhD students from all social science disciplines are invited in this year's Call for Participation to present their research for discussion in a broad range of topics around issues of social inequality.
The Summer School will take place from September 14 - 18, 2020 at the Institute of Sociology, University of Vienna.
Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 31 January 2020.
