Since the inception of the program, a half scholarship has been awarded to participants of the MSc Environmental Technology and International Affairs. This year the jury awarded the „Scholarship for a Sustainable Future“, worth 13,900 Euros, to Theresa Breit, BSc of WU.

The joyous recipient of the 15th ETIA cohort's scholarship comments: “I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to study ETIA and I would like to thank the Diplomatic Academy and TU Wien for the financial support. I am happy to be a part of this program. In order to face the extraordinary challenges our planet is experiencing now and will continue to experience in the future, it is of utmost importance to combine different disciplines to create a fair and sustainable environment for everyone. I decided to apply for the ETIA program because I think it offers an excellent insight to environmental technologies as well as international issues, which meets the needs of our time.

This MSc program was established in 2007 as a unique cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy Vienna and TU Wien. Graduates of technical studies will get an overview of the political and legal framework of environmental technology, whereas lawyers, economists and graduates from other studies will get acquainted with the technical aspects (focus on air, water and waste as well as energy, climate and sustainable development).

The prerequisite for participation in the MSc ETIA program is an internationally recognized academic degree (all academic degrees in Austria, Bachelor's, Master's or Fachhochschule degrees from domestic and foreign universities) as well as excellent English language skills.

The 15th round of the MSc ETIA program will start on September 27, 2021 - admission is still possible.
