Congratulations Dr Hellmeier and Dr Schrangl!

Joschka Hellmeier and Lukas Schrangl successfully defended their theses and obtained their doctorate degree

Lukas studied the role of mechanical forces in T cell activation using a newly developped nanoscopic force sensor. Joschka investigated the fundamental principles of T cell activation. He used DNA origami as a nanoscale tool to address the importance of spatial requirements as well as ligand binding kinetics.
