Good bye, .dblog!

Communication in general, and the .dblog in particular, have accompanied the digital transformation process at TU Wien from the very beginning. Now the course is being set anew, also in communication.

[Translate to English:] Goodbye .digital blog

Today's blog post in the ".digital aktuell/.dblog series" is on our own behalf, so to speak, and - spoiler alert - it will also be the last. Since 2019, we have regularly informed you every two weeks about many topics related to the digital transformation process at TU Wien. Initially, it was very much about raising awareness for the topic in the first place, explaining what digital transformation is actually about and also inviting you to the various information events. We presented the topics of the then existing focus groups and provided information about the first projects. These reports were also accompanied by general topics from the extensive field of digitalization. Our digitalization projects of the .dcall funding line also had various appearances in .dblog posts, most recently by supporting videos about the results of the projects.

As with every year, 2024 brings a number of changes. This time, the .digital blog will not be spared. The .dblog in its current form is being published for the last time with this article. Just as the topic of digitalization at TU Wien is being realigned for the future, the associated communication is also being redesigned. This will take some time, but we will inform you again when the time comes.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many contributors, dialog partners and authors who have brought this blog to life together with the .digital office. Since 2019, we have been able to publish 112 blog posts on a wide range of topics. Thank you very much!
