Planned TUW childcare offers

Childcare offers during the Easter vacation and summer as well as on "Fenstertage".

We are all going through a challenging time right now. Therefore, it is all the more important to TU Wien to support all TU members in taking care of their children.

Unfortunately, however, we are unable to offer care during the semester vacation this year due to the current Covid-19 regulations.

From today's point of view, the following childcare offers are planned at TU Wien until summer 2021:

Osterferien @ TU Wien

During the easter vacation, childcare will be offered on the following days:

Sommerferien @ TU Wien

In order to provide members of TU Wien with the best possible support for childcare during the summer weeks, the number of care weeks has been increased.

In the following weeks childcare (for children aged 6 to 12 years) will take place in summer 2021:

Week 35: 30.08.21 to 03.09.21: “Kreativwoche” (Pfau!)
Week 35: 30.08.21 to 03.09.21: “Englisch Lernwoche“ (Berlitz)

As part of the summer vacation program, a techNIKE focus for girls will again be offered in week 31 and week 35.

techNIKE @ Summer Vacation TU Wien

The techNIKE focus of the summer vacation childcare weeks is an initiative of TU Wien to get more girls aged 6 to 10 excited about technology.

During TU Childcare Week (Weeks 31 and 35), registered girls have the opportunity to participate in an additional technical workshop one afternoon.

If you are interested, you can register your daughter for this focus using the general summer vacation registration form. (Participation in the techNIKE focus is only possible if you register for the entire vacation week).

Place Fee

After receiving a confirmation of registration from TU Kids & Care office, a deposit of 20 % of the respective cost amount must be paid in order to guarantee a binding reservation. For this purpose you will receive an invoice by e-mail.

The remaining amount will be paid on site in cash or by invoice sent by e-mail (this varies depending on the week of care).

Cancellation Conditions

Cancellation free of charge is possible by sending an e-mail to tukids@tuwien.ac.at until 30.05.2021. In this case, the deposit you made will be refunded.

After this deadline, no refund of the place fee is possible.

In order to be able to provide childcare during these special times, certain safety measures that apply to the respective childcare time are set.We ask for your understanding that these measures can be changed at any time or that the childcare can be cancelled at all at short notice due to corona conditions.
