Alexander Syböck receives the Franz Viehböck Young Investigator Award.

Today the winner of the Franz Viehböck Young Investigator Prize, opens an external URL in a new window 2023 was officially announced. This year's prize, which is endowed with 1500 € travel funds, goes to Alexander Syböck from the Surface Physics Research Unit of IAP. The award ceremony took place during the Christmas party of the Institute, and the Prize was handed over by the institute’s director Fritz Aumayr and by Carina Viehböck, the granddaughter of Franz Viehböck. The corresponding Poster Session was held on Nov. 29th, 2023. Julia Linert, Alexander Redl and Anezka Majkova each received a recognition award (500 € travel funds each).
