19th course start on 9 November 2018

The postgraduate course General Management MBA started on November 9, 2018 for the 19th time in a row.

Most of the "new" students have a technical degree or professional background. It is particularly gratifying that 7 graduates of the TU Wien are returning to their alma mater for further training and are taking part in this course.

By completing this course, the students aim to take the next steps in their careers. In this four-semester part-time programme, the first two semesters provide them with the basic knowledge of processes and instruments of general management, while the third semester, held in English, is devoted to a more in-depth study of the fundamentals of selected topics.

The course was ceremonially opened by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Aussenegg (Academic Director at the TU Wien) and Mag. Petra Aigner, M.Sc. (Managing Director of the Continuing Education Center of the TU Wien). After the obligatory group photo, the students used the buffet after the official part of the opening to get to know each other. Immediately afterwards, the first lessons with Dominik Hofer, BA and Mag. Herbert Pelzer started with teambuilding and a course on "Organisational Behavior & Human Resource Management".

The CEC/TU Wien team wishes all participants a good start and much success for the next 4 semesters!
