"Possibly infected" can be tested voluntarily to gain certainty.

The Occupational Medical Service will examine your request and send any approval for the test. If the AMD gives its approval, the costs for the test at the cooperation laboratory will be covered by the Vienna University of Technology. (The billing is done directly with the laboratory). As of 1.10. refunds for tests at other institutions are no longer possible!

If your voluntary test reveals a "covid infection", please contact 1450 immediately to initiate further steps.

Opening of a medical practice of choice

On 28.09.2020 the elective medical practice was officially opened in the premises of the Occupational Medical Service. The elective doctor's office is a general medical consultation with consultations, vaccinations, issuing of elective doctor's prescriptions and referrals.

• For therapy concepts for chronic diseases, please continue to contact your general practitioner or specialist. 
• You do not need an e-card.
• Sick leaves are not possible!  

Preventive examinations and flu vaccination

We offer all employees of the TU Vienna in cooperation with the Occupational Medical Center / IBG (Innovative Company Health Management GmbH) the remaining places for preventive medical checkups and appointments for flu vaccinations via the health portal. As soon as further appointments are available, you will be informed directly via the health portal. Occupational psychology consultation hour

TUW employees have the opportunity to take advantage of an individual consultation in the Occupational Psychology consultation hour. This offer is strictly confidential, anonymous and free of charge for employees of TU Wien.

Results of the employee and student survey - on the topic of caring relatives

During the virtual TU Care Mittagsinfo on Tuesday, 20.10.2020 from 12:00 to 13:30, Roland Polacsek-Ernst will present the anonymised results of the employee and student survey for the group of caring relatives - in particular the special stress issues derived from the study. Furthermore, there will be the opportunity to participate in a subsequent exchange and to discuss what else can be done to improve the situation of caring relatives.

Sports offer
