Scholarship Announcement - Become an expert in Renewables!

Identifying pathways for heading towards sustainable energy systems is one of the major challenges of our time. The core role in this context play renewable energy technologies, such as wind, biomass, solar, hydro and some others. In addition, decentralisation, digitalisation and the wish of many energy consumers for more democratic energy supply will lead to lasting changes in the energy sector. The part-time MSc Renewable Energy Systems, opens an external URL in a new window prepares you for these challenges and gives you the opportunity to be an active participant in this transition.

TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha support individuals and their careers in the renewable energy sector. Therefore, we offer scholarship for this MSc program addressed to people with a green mindset and future-oriented thinking.
All scholarships are partial scholarships and are granted for the next program start of the MSc Renewable Energy Systems on November 4th, 2021 only.

These are the three target groups defined for the scholarship categories:

  • Individuals, who are eager to change their current career path and gain ground in the field of renewable energies (Green Future Scholarship)
  • Women, who want to sit on the driver’s seat (as opposed to passenger seat) when it comes to  energy transition worldwide (Female Leader Scholarship)
  • International players, who want to develop their already outstanding careers even further and show high performance in a variety of business settings (International High Potential Scholarship)

The application period for all scholarships, each valued 5,000 EUR, ends on February 15th 2021.

Each participant will have to submit an application form, complete application documents and specific additional information, based on the requirements for the desired scholarship (for terms and conditions please see full scholarship descriptions here, opens an external URL in a new window). After reviewing the applications, applicants will be asked to participate in a hearing in front of a jury.
