Expert Talk: "Desert, Arctic & Ocean: Pioneering Space Architecture on Earth for Tomorrow's Exploration" and Info Evening Executive MBA Space Architecture

Fire side evening

Lift-off your career to the future with EMBA Space Architecture

Living and working in space, research stations on the moon and on Mars are goals that are already opening up many opportunities on Earth. The experiences with the extreme extra-terrestrial living and working - but also planning - conditions can be used as a case study for pressing terrestrial questions. Extreme conditions are also increasing on Earth. The world is changing and we see that every day. Extreme weather and climatic conditions, environmental destruction, limited supply and access to the resources of planet Earth, sustainable building, optimization of land use are just a few of the buzzwords of our time.

In order to share  a glimpse into the current state and future trends of space architecture TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education  has  been organized Expert Talks.  We are verly pleased to announce the next Expert Talk "Desert, Arctic & Ocean: Pioneering Space Architecture on Earth for Tomorrow's Exploration" with Mr. Sebastian AristotelisSAGA Space Architects, opens an external URL in a new windowMr. Sebastian Aristotelis is the lead architect and co-founder of SAGA Space Architects which specializes in 3D-printed architecture and habitation for outer space. SAGA has built projects in Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, and Northern Greenland. SAGA recently sent its first payload to Outer Space, a lamp for the International Space Station.

In  his talk Mr. Sebastian Aristotelis will explore the innovative journey of SAGA Space Architects, opens an external URL in a new window in designing habitable structures for outer space. Drawing from his unique experiences in self-experimentation, he will delve into how living in extreme environments on Earth - from deserts and arctic regions to underwater - provides crucial insights for building in space. He will share stories from the LUNARK expedition and other analog projects, highlighting the challenges and triumphs of creating sustainable living spaces for the final frontier. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the intersection between extreme architecture and space habitation, and the future possibilities it holds.

The Executive MBA Space Architecture Program prepares executives, high potentials and those interested in the space market for future requirements in an international and interdisciplinary field of work in space and above all on Earth. Onwards at the Virtual Info Evening the unique Executive MBA Space Architecture Program will be presented  and answered questions from audience.
