Virtual Expert Talk | How can large companies stay innovative?

Lecture

Virtual Expert Talk with Alumna Aleksandra Petkov-Georgieva

Large companies have all advantages in terms of access to talent, ideas and capital. However, famous examples like Kodak and Polaroid show how difficult it can be for them to be and stay innovative in a rapidly changing market. It is worth examining what hinders them and consequently what can enable them. Find out why designing an ecosystem is key to unlock the incumbent’s potential and how large companies should incite their entrepreneurship from inside in order to ensure their innovation power and perpetual existence.

Aleksandra Petkov-Georgieva is Innovation Manager at Raiffeisenbank Bank International and a “Corporate Punk devoted to human-centered innovation”, as she describes herself. Aleks successfully finished her MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in 2019 and we are very happy to have her back as an expert sharing her insights.
