The paper “A Machine Learning-Based Approach for Surface Soil Moisture Estimations with Google Earth Engine, opens an external URL in a new window” by Felix Greifeneder, Claudia Notarnicola and Wolfgang Wagner received a 2023 Best Paper Award from the Journal “Remote Sensing”. It was one of the four journal papers that went into the PhD thesis of Felix Greifeneder, which he defended at TU Wien in February 2022.
