Assistant Professorship for Livia Piermattei

Congratulations!

We congratulate Livia Piermattei, who took up a new assistant professorship in Remote Sensing of Environmental Changes at the University of Zurich on February 1, 2024. Livia holds a PhD in Topography and Cartography from the University of Padua, Italy. She spent the last year of her PhD at our department, followed by several years as a postdoctoral researcher. She was a highly valued colleague in our research unit of photogrammetry. After stops in Germany and Norway, she moved to Switzerland.
