Research interests

Our research is focused on modelling and simulation in the neurosciences and in biomedical engineering. Our aim in neuro-prosthetics is to enlighten the principles of artificially generated neural code in the auditory and other nerves using electrical or magnetic nerve stimulation.

With the simulations and their analysis, we are replacing experiments that are not possible in human medicine for ethical reasons and are also saving a lot of suffering in animal experiments thanks to a modern technical tool.
