My research interests are primarily in the numerical solution of (partial) differential equations.

Currently, the focus is on numerics for non-local operators, such as fractional differential operators or integral operators. Research questions are a-priori convergence analysis of higher order finite element approximations, quadrature for hyper-singular integrals and efficient computation of approximations.

Furthermore, I analyse compression techniques (i.e. data reduction) for fully populated matrices.
