In the course of the projected redesign of Gumpendorfer Straße, opens an external URL in a new window, citizens as well as experts were invited to contribute their ideas to the planning process. TU Wien Bibliothek and a research team held three workshops with pupils in May and June to collect and discuss their ideas and perspectives.

Last week, a closing workshop, opens an external URL in a new window took place where the district chairman of the 6th district, Markus Rumelhart, and the project participants from the technical offices PlanSinn, opens an external URL in a new window and Carla Lo Landschaftsarchitektur discussed the results.

TU Wien Bibliothek is working towards increasing our role as an open space of exchange between science and society. Citizen science experiments within the OPUSH, opens an external URL in a new window project are providing key experience that will help us to foster this exchange.
