It was a pleasure to hold the PERSEO Workshop in Vienna, Austria from September 18th to 20th, 2023.  The workshop explored the theme "Interaction Technologies for Responsible Healthcare," with a focus on the role of personal robots in revolutionizing healthcare support and collaboration. It was great to see all the Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) working together to reshape the future of Human-Robot Interaction.  The researchers from the European Training Network on Personalized Robotics as Service-Oriented Applications (PERSEO)  had the privilege of receiving great talks from distinguished experts from TUWien. First, Prof. Markus Vincze shared the importance of robots perceiving their surrounding objects for interactions. Then, Prof Astrid Weiss added depth and breadth to the exploration and adoption of personalized robotics. Finally, Dr. Marjo Rauhala delivered a thought presentation on how to effectively prepare research proposals and the role of research ethics in the process.

In conclusion, the PERSEO Workshop in Vienna was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the insights and knowledge shared by these speakers and the great work of all PERSEO members. It was a pleasure to host such a dynamic and forward-thinking gathering of experts, and we look forward to witnessing the continued advancements and innovations in this exciting field.

We will see more news from the work started in our lab soon!
