Kick-Off PFASAN

A unique mix of expertise came together yesterday to launch the PFASAN project at the Science Centre in Arsenal!
The teams, led by Thomas Reichenauer (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology), Thilo Hofmann (Universität Wien), Ottavia Zoboli and Heidi SCHAAR from our institute, with the support of two firms, will develop, test, and evaluate various in-situ and on-site remediation technologies for PFAS-contaminated sites.
Funded by Kommunalkredit Austria AG, the project will focus on sorption, abiotic and biotic degradation processes.
We are looking forward to this exciting new collaboration!
