Biological Methantion an an Anaerobic Biofilm Reactor

Biological methanation of co2 can improve methane and energy content of biogas produced from sewagesludge and biofilm reactors offer a relatively simple, energy-efficient technique for upgrading biogas via ex-site methanation.
As further step towards the operative implementation of this innovative approach, Joseph Tauber  et al. have investigated in a pilot reactor the performance for upgrading biogas from municipal sewage sludge, with a focus on necessary nutrient media to ensure a stable operation.
