What are Jörg Krampe and the students of environmentalengineering doing?
Testing Davis, the new Data Visualization Space in the Technische Universität Wien Bibliothek.
Davis is designed as an experimental learning space for teachers and students. With a 3D-capable, floor-to-ceiling LED wall and a nearly 5 metres long interactive touch wall, it provides an intuitive and immersive experience of complex interrelationships of digital data through visualisation. By testing its use with the 3D model of our pilot wastewatertreatment plant, we are starting to explore how to exploit its potential to improve our teaching activities.
