New team member at SRF: Barbara Demeterova

Barbara Demeterova has an interdisciplinary background with Bachelor's degrees in International Development and Cultural and Social Anthropology and a Master's degree in Human Geography. Her dissertation focused on cross-border co-operation and territorial cohesion policy in Central Europe.

In her professional career to date, she has focussed on sustainable urban and regional development, climate change adaptation, mobility management, informal housing and urban risk governance. Most recently, she has conducted research on urban climate change adaptation and housing policies in Southeast Asia.

Barbara Demeterova has been working as a post-doc at the SRF since 1 February. She will support us in ongoing research, project and teaching activities in the coming years.
