On 26 June, the results of the PEGASUS project were presented at the AK Vienna Education Centre. With the IT model developed in a research cooperation with AK Vienna, commuting flows in the metropolitan region of Vienna can be modelled and simulated for all modes of transport. The event showed the great interest of various departments of AK Vienna ("Municipal Policy and Housing", "Environment and Transport", "Information") in using the model in the future as an evidence-based foundation for concrete measures and decisions in the field of mobility, information and urban planning policy. The research cooperation should therefore be continued as far as possible, also in order to further develop the model and adapt it to new fields of application.
