With spring-like weather, getting to know fellow students in person and starting the master program was an exciting afternoon. The course director Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bob Martens, FRICS warmly welcomed the 29 students on site and one student via Zoom to the TU Wien Academy. He gave an outlook on the coming two years.

Dr. Birgit Trofer, MSc - Chair of the Board of ImmoABS, opens an external URL in a new window - congratulated the students on their decision for further education and especially for choosing the MSc "Real Estate Management & Valuation". It will be a challenging, intensive time and yet it will also pass very quickly. Nevertheless, the most important thing, besides the acquired knowledge, are the friendships and professional contacts made during the studies.

Moderated by Professor Martens, the students each briefly introduced themselves and discovered initial personal similarities and already existing professional connections. Afterwards, the opportunity to get to know each other further was taken during a nice get-together at the buffet.

The team of the TU Wien Academy for Contiuing Education wishes all participants a good start and much success for the coming four semesters.
