The Emerging Fields (EF) programme is aimed at teams of outstanding researchers who are doing pioneering work in basic research and are prepared to depart from established approaches.

Emerging fields is a novel funding scheme of the FWF for innovative, original, and/or high-risk ideas that are often not sufficiently supported by traditional funding instruments. In this webinar we will discuss the peculiarities of the program and the differences to traditional research groups and special research programmes. Testimonials will share their experiences with comparable programs.
