The meeting presented a good opportunity for the members to come together from the various parts of Europe and catch up and exchange ideas for future research.

Alberto Zavarise, Ibrahim Abdulrasool Mahmood Rabeeah (both TU Wien, Phytochemistry and Biochemistry of Natural Compounds) and Helen Murray (HBLA Klosterneuburg) are the three ESRs (Early Stage Researchers) which carry out their research in Austria.

The project HiStabJuice will last until February 2025. The aim is to establish a strong and lasting international training network for innovation in food and juice industries: a 4D-research approach for fruit juice processing. The project is funded by the European Commission (Horizon2020, ITN-ETN-956257)

Beside the meeting, all 11 ESRs, were invited to present posters of their research at the IFU (International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association) Technical Workshop 2023, held at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn from 22nd through 24th.
