Quality Audit at the TU Wien
At its meeting on March 4, 2016, the Swiss Accreditation Council approved the certification of the quality management system of the TU Wien. This brought the process to a successful conclusion with the Swiss Agency for Accreditation Quality Assurance (AAQ). In the final report, the international review group formulates a number of valuable recommendations as well as a requirement to develop a process for recording the forms of examination by 2018.
Every seven years, the Quality Audit examines the instruments and processes used by universities to secure and improve their quality in teaching, research and service, based on the applicable University Quality Assurance Act. The procedure essentially consists of a self-assessment report and a two-and-a-half-day on-site visit by an international expert group, which took place at the TU Wien at the end of November 2015.
