The aircraft systems research group headed by Prof. Martin Berens deals with the conceptual design of aircraft with a focus on fixed-wing aircraft and aircraft systems with a focus on the efficient integration of conventional and unconventional propulsion systems. The work of the research group is guided by the vision of a future climate-neutral aviation.
