At the Getreidemarkt location, 1060 Vienna, modern computers are available to perform highly parallelized simulations on current processors. Furthermore, these have been extended by external graphics cards, which enables a shift of existing computing requirements to a computing infrastructure that can be parallelized many times better. In order to increase the number of simulations that can be performed in parallel and to shorten the runtime, several servers can be used, which have many times the performance of classical computers.

If the requirements of a specific project exceed the in-house computing capacities, these can be outsourced to the Vienna Scientific Cluster (VSC), opens an external URL in a new window.
