Design of a hydroelectric power plant in the Scheibbs area on the Erlauf

Task:

In addition to the economic power plant solution, multifunctional uses for the residents and visitors of the city of Scheibbs were to be developed. A total of 21 projects were submitted. The jury was convinced by the quality of the work and awarded four recognition prizes of €1,000 each. Third place ‘mEIN KRAFTWERK SCHEIBBS’ (prize money 2,000 euros) and second place ‘EWA: Electricity – Wave – Advancement’ (prize money 3,000 euros) were awarded to students at the Vienna University of Technology. The project ‘Beton E6’ (concrete E6) took the top prize (€4,000).
